FUNCTIONAL COMPONENT OF UEC TRAINING PROGRAM
IN-HOUSE TRAINING- Consists of livelihood training seminars (Management, Food, Non-food, Agri-Aqua courses) conducted at UEC classroom designed to increase participant’s awareness of various business opportunities and motivate them to set-up their own business. Topics of the courses include: an actual demonstration and hands-on exercises (for courses that requires hands-on activity), sourcing of raw materials, tools and equipment, requirement, management, marketing, cost and return analysis and modular studies on the success of setting-up a business enterprise. At UEC seminars, participants (jobseekers, would-be retirees, OFW’s women groups, housewives, students, out-of-school youths, handicapped, senior citizens, farmers, fisherfolks, etc.) are being trained by resource persons who are practitioners, consultants and business owners themselves on how a business should operate profitably.

In pursuit of our efforts to reach a greater majority of beneficiaries UEC, responds to requests by groups, and institutions for exclusive training at facilities provided by the requesting clients and or at UEC’s classroom by special arrangement.
MECHANICS OF INSTITUTIONAL TRAINING
